At Artisan the roar of the grinder kicks in once you’ve made your order so you know your coffee will be fresh every time.
Artisan is a coffee focused, fun loving space that flirts with pushing design boundaries. We have built everything by hand around the Barista, so they have the space they need to prepare the most beautiful coffees. Our Baristas treat each cup like a fine chef does a meal, taking pride and time to ensure each coffee is flawless. We continuously adjust the grind to allow for changes in the atmosphere, which is just one of the many steps we take to make sure your espresso is just right. Surprisingly our Baristas also like to clean… we clean vital parts of our lovely La Marzocco FB/80 all day long.
We like to get geeky – we spend our evenings talking about brew ratios, TDS levels (that’s the water and our reverse osmosis system), water pressure and, microfoam, to name a few. This is not just because we love what we do, but because we want you to discover the beauty of great coffee.
We source our freshly roasted beans from Curious Roo Coffee Rosters. They are an independent small batch roastery and source specialty grade coffee from origins around the world – their methods are simple, they take a lot of love, great ingredients, expertise in roasting and bring them all together with heaps of passion.
Looking for great filter coffee in London – if you’re looking for it we don’t need to explain how good it is. It takes a little longer and is served using single origin coffee from Curious Roo Coffee Roasters who are as passionate about freshness, quality and exceptional taste as we are.
Each morning, granolas, pastries, porridge and smoked salmon roll are all freshly prepared while London sleeps. As we drift into mid morning; the Anzac biscuits or our lemon and rosemary cakes are definitely hard to resist.
For lunch it’s all about freshness… with seasonal soups, smashed avocado on toast and sausages baps as well as our selection of hearty sandwiches. The afternoon brings more tasty treats like our rose and pistachio or chocolate and Guinness cakes.
